One of our obligations as a Christian is to know ourselves. We are to know ourselves so we can know how we can best serve and glorify God. Each of us must know the dimensions of our wants and needs. When we lose track of our wants and needs, we are at a loss as to how to fill our wants and needs.
Here are some thought provoking questions and answers related to knowing your wants and needs�
If you do not know what you want and need, how will you fill your want and need? Answer: You will not, except by accident.
If you do not know what you want and need, how can you pray for guidance to fill your want and need? Answer: You can't.
If you do not know what you want and need, how can you control your want and need? Answer: You can't.
If you deny you have a want and need, or you tell yourself what you want and need is not important, are you lying to yourself? Answer: Yes.
