A Daily Devotional
About love and self-seeking:
1 Corinthians 13:5 it (love) is not self-seeking(NIV)
In love, we lose ourselves. In Christ, our self does not exist. In love, we seek to give rather than get. In love, we seek to give, rather than receive. In love, we seek to serve rather than be served. All the people you know need love and need to see love expressed in you as unselfishness. In a world dominated by greed and selfishness, love finds a way to complete tasks and get jobs done more efficiently. In every moment we can seek God in love or seek self. In your life, the more you look out for the interests of others, the more successful you will be. The more you care about others, the more others will follow your lead and follow the example you set for them. In daily life, seek out the best in others and you will find the best in yourself without trying.
