A Daily Devotional
About not being deceived:
Revelation 19:20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. (NIV)
Millions of people are deceived. You work with them, go to school with them, live next door to them, shop with them, see them on television, and/or listen to them on the radio. As the great satanic deception unfolds upon the earth, you will see millions upon millions of persons deceived. You may not realize the deception is happening, but many parts of your everyday life are tied to the deception put in place by the powers of darkness.
What you store in your heart can either lead to blindness or to vision. When you store the true love of God in your heart each day, then you have vision. You can have a discerning vision as to what is going on around you. When your heart is resting in the hands of God, when you are continually kneeling at the foot of Christ's Cross, you live in wisdom beyond deception.
