A Daily Devotional

If we let the world determine our agendas and our goals we come up empty at some point. Everything in the world will rot, decay, be destroyed, or become junk through obsolescence. In a rapidly changing world where the small get stepped on by the mighty, we need a hope for the future. Our hope each day ought to be pointed to Christ. We have an ultimate future full of glory, fun, and joy. We have an ultimate future where we will have no pain or suffering. Even though our present time may be full of pain, suffering, and heartache, even our present time is made manageable by our hope for the future.
