Pack Of Lies No. 5

John 18:37 Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." (NIV)

A Lie: There isn't anything you can do
A Lie: You don't have a chance
A Lie: You are sliding down into hell with no escape
A Lie: You will have the same problems tomorrow you had today

Lies are from hell. The truth is from Heaven. Even the truth hurting us is better than a lie hurting us, because when the truth hurts us, we are at least hurt in ways that may eventually help us. When a lie hurts us we may never know the cause of the hurt unless we tell or face the truth. We do not appreciate enough how lies can dominate and destroy our life. We do not appreciate enough how the truth can set us free. We do not appreciate enough how lies can keep us in a place where there is no hope, no peace, no compassion, and no contentment. We do not appreciate enough how the truth can give us hope, give us peace, give us compassion, and give us contentment. The truth is, there is always something you can do in any adversity or circumstance. The truth is, you always have a chance. The truth is, you are sliding down into hell only by your own willingness to do so and there is always an escape from hell called Jesus Christ. The truth is, you need not have the same problems tomorrow you had to today if you fix the problem you have today.
