About perfect faith�

Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. (NIV)

Perfect faith comes about through honesty. However, there is no such thing as perfect faith. Faith is an intangible substance in our heart and soul. Faith comes and goes as if blown about by the wind. We can muster up great faith at times. However, there are other times we are hard pressed to find any faith at all. When our faith is weak we resort to going through the motions hoping God understands. Faith is most perfect when we tell God we have lost our contact with Him. Then, amazingly, we find Him. Faith is most perfect when we resort to blind trust in Christ realizing our power is nothing compared to His power. Perfect faith is a small faith seed held in the heart. Perfect faith is keeping the microscopic faith seed when we wanted faith as big as the sky. Perfect faith is the faith held in the heart of a person who recognizes faith's imperfection. We can achieve a perfect faith by telling God we have fallen short because we do not have much faith. When we are honest in our heart we tell God we are deficient in faith. When we are honest with Him, God then gives us an abundance of blessings�as if we have perfect faith.
