About the plans of God�

Isaiah 30:1 "Woe to the obstinate children," declares the LORD, "to those who carry out plans that are not mine, (NIV)

We often hear talk about the plans God has for a person's life. Love, caring, compassion, forgiveness, freedom, repentance, salvation, and giving are only a few of the foundation stones of a godly life. The plans of God require each of us to put in place these and other foundation stones. The plans God has for us are not shrouded in mystery. The plans of God are not some kind of complex formula. God's plans are simple. In part, God wants us to love one another. God wants us to repent of our sins. God wants us to accept Christ as our Savior and Lord. For many people looking for some kind of "secret" relating to their life, these plans are way too simple. However, God's plan for a person's life is simple. When we follow God's simple plans, we soon find He is working for us to help us build and achieve greater things than we could have ever planned and built on our own.
