About receiving from Heaven:

John 3:27 To this John replied, "A man can receive only what is given him from heaven. (NIV)

The source of all blessings is not what you manufacture, buy, beg, borrow, or take. The source of all blessings is from Heaven. Your blessings worth having are sent to you from Heaven. You can possess or own your things. You can love or treasure your stuff. However, all your things and all your stuff remain forever outside of you. The treasures of Heaven can be and are received and treasured within you. You can receive in your heart and soul what is from heaven. You can possess, for a short time, a material thing outside of yourself. You can possess a new home, a new car, and incredible wealth. However, all these are outside of you. You can receive and truly treasure the blessings of Heaven within your heart. Conversely, you cannot carry a material thing, a new home, a new car, and incredible wealth around in your heart. You can carry the blessings of God within you for the Kingdom of God is within you.
