A Daily Devotional

Mark 10:15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. (NIV)

Most children trust wholeheartedly. Children accept without doubt. Children are submissive and full of inquisitive questions. Children open their arms for a hug. God’s children rush to Jesus for a hug and rush into His kingdom like they rush to open presents on Christmas morning. Remember that the Kingdom of God is within. All the presents are ready for unwrapping. Jesus is waiting for you to rush to Him so he can put His arms around you. He is waiting to toss you up in the air and catch you. He is anxious to hear your shouts of joy, and shouts of glee. He is anxious to see childlike wonder and excitement in your eyes. He is anxious to see you in wide-eyed amazement and see you full of His love.
