Luke 7: 22So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. (NIV)

The blind received sight with what had to be amazement and wonder. They received what they had longed for all of their life. In the Kingdom of God, starving and empty souls are being fed. In your own life, you can receive the sight to see God. Your crippled life can be made whole, your ears can be opened to the glory of the songs of the heavenly hosts, and your once-dead heart and mind can come alive. Even if we might be poor in money and things, we are rich in life because we have heard the Good News.
