About receiving what God has freely given:

1 Corinthians 2:12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

To know about God, you must be spiritual. Common sense should rule over us and tell us when we want to know about God we must be spiritual because God is spirit. God cannot be known if your heart and soul are unspiritual as a result of your being in the world. Clearly, there is a spirit of God and there is an opposing spirit of the world. The opposing spirit of the world makes you pay for everything. The Spirit of God is given to you for free. You cannot buy the Spirit of God. You cannot obtain the Spirit of God by any means other than by turning away from what is in the world. In the world, there is death. In the Spirit of God, there is life eternal.

You can find God's power if you would only become His child. The Spirit of God is freely given to us by God only when we become His child. There should be no real mystery here. To know about God takes a willingness to turn away from the world, for God is not in the world. God is within us. We cannot find God in the world because God is love and the things of earth cannot hold love. The mountains, oceans, clouds, inventions, and the products of human beings cannot contain the love of God. The only container of the love of God is your heart.
