About the right power:
Acts 26:17 I am sending you
to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place
among those who are sanctified by faith in me.' (NIV)
The higher you go the farther
down there is to fall. The closer to God you move, the more Satan will try to
bring you down. Attacks by Satan are the price you pay for being godly,
righteous, and devout. No one likes paying a price for being godly, righteous,
and devout. However, you don't need to like paying the price. You don't need to love
paying the price. All you need to do is to just pay. All you need is to do
what is righteous, to do what is godly, and to do what is devout. God does not
so much care about whether you like serving Him. God cares about whether you DO
serve Him. Being a servant and witness to the power of God by using attacks of
Satan against Satan, is the highest form of glorification of God's power. Only
God knows the price you pay to serve Him. Only God knows what kind of price you
pay to glorify His name and glorify His love. Truthfully, we may get no earthly
rewards for glorifying God. We may get no earthly rewards for climbing higher
and higher to be closer to God to do His will. However, we get ultimate rewards
in our climb. At the top of our climb we will find Him. In the end, we will find
our new eternal beginning where He will welcome us into His magnificent eternal
home of love and peace.
