About rules for victory:

1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, (NIV)

If you want to win by doing the will of God and by being His child, you have to know the rules. When you break or violate the rules there are always penalties. Even when you violate the rules without intention, there is still a penalty. Knowing the rules of life God has placed in His Word and in our heart is critical for leading a godly life. However, knowing the rules is not enough. We must go beyond knowing the rules. We must control our life so we obey the rules. Obeying God's rules produces a wonderful peace and joy in our heart. Obeying the rules God has placed within the order of all things brings us to His definition of greatness. In His greatness, we can conquer the foes of life by maintaining our spirit of obedience. God's gives us rules to help us. God's rules help us live out our life so His love and His peace grows and multiplies in our heart.
