Matt. 12:21 "’In his name the nations will put their hope.’"

The words above are taken from the book of Isaiah 42:1-4. The verse talks about where the nations of the world will find their vision for the future. The verse speaks about how the nations of the world will construct their governments to reflect the teaching of Christ. Although this verse spoke of a future time, we can, in some measure, see how much influence Christ has had upon the world. We can also see the world is no where near what this verse envisions. Every day you have a chance to transform your part of the world. Your part of the world may not be very big. Your part of the world may include only chance meetings with a checkout clerk, a secretary, a pharmacist, one or two people at your job, or only a friend or two. But God expects you to do your part in giving and sharing your hope for the future, for you have the same hope for a future in Christ as did God when He spoke to the prophet Isaiah.
