About suffering vs. you:

Surely you have said, "I hurt." We all hurt at various times. However, what is God's truth for each of us in regard to pain? If we could see things the way God sees things, we would see how hurt or pain opposes us. We would see hurt, pain, and suffering are the opposition or adversary. We would see how hurt is against us like a disease is against us.

There is a war going on within you between Satan and God. Satan causes pain to try and get you to reject God or turn away from God. God remains with you in every hurt, always calling to you come to Him in the pain. If you will see this spiritual war the way the spiritual war really is�a spiritual war for your soul, God will give you the power to fight His good fight. When you feel pain, any kind of pain, see the pain as the enemy. In Christ's love and grace, make peace with the pain. Befriend the pain. Turn the pain into a reason to love God. Use the pain to glorify God in all manner of ways. These radical ideas about dealing with pain work. These radical ideas give the power of God to every person who desires to have Him alive and fully known in their life and heart.
