A Daily Devotional

About taking your heart before God…

2 Corinthians 3:3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (NIV)

God knows the state of your heart at all times. The testimony of Christ working in your life is written on your heart. When God looks at you, within your heart is where He looks. When God talks to you, within your heart is where He sends His message. God does not care about how you look on the outside. God cares about how you carry His words and love in your heart. Through your heart others come to know Him. To be right in your heart with Christ is the greatest way to be near God and show others the way to Christ. When you hurt, take your heart to God then He will touch you and His touch will be seen by others. When you are full of thanksgiving, take your heart to God, and He will touch you and rejoice with you. Then others will see His touch in you. When you are in despair, take your heart to God. He will lift your heart up and others will see His touch upon you.
