About the cost of choosing darkness…

If you choose to live in darkness, although you do not realize the consequences of your decision, you support your choice of living in the darkness by whining and complaining about how tough things are. To support your choice of living in darkness you will find fault with holy and godly people, with the church the Lord has built, or find fault with God. To live in darkness and to run away from the Light, you will make excuses for your choices, blame other people for wrong decisions you have made, and demand special privileges when you do not need them or deserve them. Expending all this spiritual energy depletes you and leaves you empty and full of inner pain. However, you can choose a different path. You can choose to live in the Light, and have an inspiring power within you…because you can choose Jesus.
