About the meaning of life:

Job 27:8 For what hope has the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life? (NIV)

Psalm 33:18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, 19 to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. (NIV)

The meaning of life is like the wind. There are times when life is full of meaning and purpose. There are other times when life seems to have no meaning and no purpose at all. We often try to find what life means especially when we are under stress from changes of many kinds. Without God at the center of our life, our life has only a temporary meaning for the moment we live. With God, life has a meaning transcending every moment because we have vision and hope for tomorrow. With God, our heart is full of hope and promise. The Lord's hope and promise fuels our spirit. With God truly at the center of our life, we have a reason and purpose to live every moment to its fullest. When we have Christ as our Savior, our purpose in life is to fully serve Him and worship Him. Our purpose in life is to be His child regardless of the personal cost. When we choose to let our life be dominated by His meaning and His purpose, then our life has meaning and purpose.
