A Daily Devotional

About times when God reveals His reality

Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (NIV)

The world does not know God. However, there will come a time in the world when every person living and every soul He created will know Him. There will come a time when God's power of love shall cover the whole Earth and the Earth shall be transformed in an instant. There will be a new Earth. There will be a New Jerusalem. There will even be a new you if you are living at the time. The hour of the appearance of this new Earth we do not know. We may look for the signs but we still do not know the hour. When God reveals His reality in our physical realms, we will see how far short of His mark we have fallen. When God reveals His reality in our physical reality, we will see how much He forgives us even when we have fallen short. If we are not alive in the body at the time when God reveals His reality in our physical realms, we each have a chance to see all this take place from our home in Heaven.
