About times when God reveals His will�

Matthew 10:37 "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38 and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. (NIV)

Did you ever want something you could not have? All human beings have experienced this want. All persons have wanted what was just out of reach. When God reveals His will in our life, we must turn away from what we want. When God reveals His will in our life, we must pull back our hand as we reach out for what we cannot have or must not have. We must then reach out only for what He wants for us. When God reveals His will in our life, we are to follow His will rather than our own will. When God reveals His will in our life, we must remember following His will may cause us pain, suffering, and persecution. However, even when we suffer pain, suffering, and persecution by following His will, we are assured to have peace and contentment both now and for eternity. When God reveals His will in our life, we must follow His will if we truly love Him. No matter what the cost might be to us, when God reveals His will in our life, we are not to just nod our head in agreement, we are to act on what He wants us to do and to be.
