Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. (NIV) 

The will of God is for us to turn our weapons of war into plowshares.

The will of God is for us to avoid economic upheaval.

The will of God is for us to never fall into the abyss of sin and depravation.

The will of God is for us to care more and more about each other.

The will of God is for us to live our life so we stay together in peace and harmony rather than unraveling each hour.

The will of God is for His love to be poured out over the world as we do all we can do to open every heart to His power and presence.

The will of God is for angry hearts full of hatred be turned into hearts full of love.

The will of God is for hearts full of the need for revenge to be turned into hearts full of a need to forgive.

The will of God is for hearts full of the desire to sin to be turned into the desire to be righteous.

The will of God is for the blind eyes of the sinner be turned into eyes seeing Christ dieing upon the Cross.

The will of God is for the fear and anxiety about what is to come in the future to be turned into great expectations about what our future holds.

The will of God is for the greed, avarice, and lust of the world to be turned into a spirit of giving, selflessness, and compassion.
