About walking through evil…

Luke 4:27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed--only Naaman the Syrian." 28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29 They got up, drove him [Jesus] out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff. 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way. Evil has the capability of pushing us around. We must remember we can be pushed around, and eventually the evil power of Satan's darkness will cause our body to stop functioning. However, at the moment when our earthly body quits working and our spirit is set free, we will walk through the valley of darkness and into the wonderful arms of Christ. We must remember no matter how much power Satan has over us, we have the power of God within us, and all around us. When you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you will be in the minority in the world in which you live. With His Spirit living and alive in you, even when you are persecuted because of your beliefs, you still have the spiritual power to walk through dark and evil influences in the world.
