A Daily Devotional

Do you see this happening? Do you see all the blind people throwing away their canes and throwing away their Braille books? Why would God say this in His Word when we do not see it happening in the here and now? The final answer is…because these things ARE happening in the here and now. Our hope for total glory, total healing, total restoration, total good times everlasting, is not on this earth. If we put our hope in things of earth, we do not understand the verse. God does all these things every day when the blind and the bowed down reach heaven. In heaven, a little blind girl does not go up to a McDonald’s counter and asks for a Braille menu. In heaven, she can see. In the meantime, we need to hug the little girl and all those like her. We then need to tell all of them and ourselves one day soon when they reach heaven they will see.
