About what we think we see: Acts 9:13 "Lord,"
Ananias answered, "I have heard many reports about this man and all the
harm he has done to your saints in What we think we see in the
real world is not always what is really there. What we think is true in the real
world can be false. Most importantly, we must all be willing to do as God
directs us to do. We must listen to God and then do as God wills us to do. The
ultimate contest of our life is the contest between God's will and our human
will. Ananias, using his human will, would not have gone near Saul to anoint
Saul. However, Ananias was a good and godly man. Ananias was a man of God who
fully interacted with God in honesty and in truth. Ananias presented to God the
facts just as Ananias knew them. Of course, Ananias did not have all the facts,
just as we do not always have all the facts. In the supernatural realms where
God lives and reigns, we not only do not have all the facts, we often have very
few of the facts. However, even in our ignorance of all the supernatural facts,
we must be willing to do as God directs. Our will is not to be done�His will
is to be done.
