A Daily Devotional

In the life we lead on earth, sometimes when we think we have everything in order or when we think we "Have it made," adversity strikes. Some of us lose people, lose things, lose jobs, lose careers, and see relationships crumble. When the darkness descends upon us, we must remember to look up. When dark times come, we must recall to keep our head up. We need to keep our head up so we can see the stars twinkling and the moon shining. God has given each person a mission in life. Each person has been given a special task to accomplish. We must remember when darkness comes, the Lord is always present, always wanting to supply us with whatever we need to get His job done. When we are grounded in His humility, no matter what suffering the darkness delivers to us, we can achieve His goals if we look up to Him.
