Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (NIV)

Many times in life, doors are slammed shut in our face. We experience rejection, hurt, and disappointment. Our dream job crumbles as we experience the realities of the job. The job we love gets cut or eliminated. Relationships come apart for reasons we do not understand. When doors close, one Door is always open. The Door always open is Christ Jesus. The door to Christ's heart is always open. Christ's heart is always open. He is always listening to our prayers, our petitions, our hurts, and the groaning of our heart. As persons of faith, we must continually take our life to Christ. In Him we find rest, security, and a friend for all eternity.
