About when we fail:

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"? (NIV)
We all fail. We are all human and being human means we fail. Sometimes being human means we fail time after time. Sometimes being human means we will never be successful in a worldly sense. However, failure in God's eyes is not the same as failure in our eyes. Success in our eyes is not the same as success in God's eyes. No matter how much of a failure others might think you are, or no matter how much of a failure you might think you are, when God sees you, He can see your potential for His success. When we fail to be godly and devout, we still have the seed to be great in God's eyes. We all have the potential to be great in God's eyes because when we know we fail, we have the capability to change and do better. When God sees our heart, He looks to see how much we want to be like Christ. When God sees our mistakes and failings, God looks to see if we want to fix things and make things right. Our failures are not our life. Our life before God is defined by how much we love Him and how much we want to be His humble child.
