About when you speak to God:

Deuteronomy 4:7 ."What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD your God is near us whenever you pray to him? (NIV)

Here is the truth. There is always someone to talk to and the someone is God. However, when you talk to God, you can't just babble on in selfishness. When you talk to God, you have to really talk and say what is in your heart. When you talk to God, you have to say to God what is really in your soul. When you talk to God, you need to keep your ears and heart tuned to God because the minute you start to speak, He will speak back to you. The minute you start to speak, He will speak and make you laugh, make you cry in holy contrition, give you wisdom, and most of all, give you love.
