About worrying about the silliest things�

Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? (NIV)

Worrying about our daily life and all the intricacies of getting from one day to the next can literally kill us. What is also devastating is worrying over silly things. When we worry over whether the weather will turn one way or not, or worry whether a famous person will be wedded or divorced, or worry whether a tsunami in the Artic Ocean will make for too much ice on the ice cap�all this worry is all pretty silly. We think there are important matters for us to worry about, but Christ does not want us worrying about any matter. We must not worry about what the next hour will bring. We must live in the moment God has given us to live. To have our life racked by worry is not the will of God. To have our life destroyed over matters that have not yet happened is not the will of God. In prayer and supplication, we must free ourselves from creating a dark worldly future in our minds. All of us who believe in Christ and who have accepted Him as savior and Lord have an unimaginably great future in heaven. When you count the goodness of life, the goodness of life can come upon you.
