Humanity seeks a leader in the many institutions humanity creates. We seek leaders in government, business, education, science, medicine, philosophy, and religion. The leader of your personal and spiritual life should be the Great Shepherd. When you are willing to follow Christ, you no longer feel a desire to seek out human leadership. The first leader you should go to in all matters is Christ. Christ's will is for you to give Him the primary role of guiding and directing your life. Christ gives you the necessary wisdom to make common sense decisions. Christ is at your side telling you how much He loves you when a crisis or a disaster strikes. Christ supplies you with all your spiritual nourishment. You cannot find a human leader giving you the peace, love, and harmony of soul Christ provides.
