Our Current Virtual Church Message

Mrs. Kandle And The Cat

In my neighborhood we think a woman lives here who we believe is Mrs. Kandle. Mrs. Kandle, or whoever she is, has a cat. The cat is small and yellow with black strips. The cat sort of looks like a tiger. We don't know the cat's name. Mrs. Kandle is a mystery too.

Mrs. Kandle and her cat appear to people who are in grief. Mrs. Kandle and her cat bring a pie to people who have lost a loved one. Mrs. Kandle goes up to a person's door, knocks on the door, and leaves the pie with the person who is grieving. She also leaves an electric, battery operated electric candle. Then she turns and leaves. Every one of the people Mrs. Kandle hands off her pie and electric candle to, reports their grief is reduced or nearly eliminated. The strange part is Mrs. Kandle appears all of over the country, sometimes on the same day and at the same time. She can be in Omaha and Columbus OH on the same day at the same minute. Wherever she goes, her little tiger cat goes with her, walking beside her. Mrs. Kandle and her cat are miracle workers. She can be seen by one person and not another. For example, two people can be sitting on their front porch. One person will see Mrs. Kandle walk up to a person's front door while the other person sitting on the front porch will not see her.

I think I have seen Mrs. Kandle and the cat but I am not sure. There are people all over the country who claim to have seen her and the cat. She seems to have various ages at various times in various parts of the country. In one location she appears to be in her late seventies. In another place she appears to be in her early forties. We don't know who she is. We don't know where she lives. We don't know how she travels. We gave her the name Kandle because she gives away an electric candle.

One witness said she just disappears, but the disappearing part cannot be verified. I've been investigating this matter for several years. I have found other people who are also investigating her. I started a web site in regard to finding out more about her but no luck. As far as we know, Mrs. Kandle does nothing but deliver pies. We do know the pies are delicious. Once you eat one of her pies, you want more. In the beginning we thought the whole thing was a marketing ploy to sell pies. However, we have no evidence of any marketing program. When you tell people about Mrs. Kandle and her cat, well, you know how people are.

About six months ago, I spoke to a woman who had lost her husband and Mrs. Kandle dropped off a pie. The widow said the pie was the best food she had ever eaten. We don't know how but eating the pie gave the widow a new reason for living. The widow said Mrs. Kandle didn't say much, other than a brief "Hello, here is a little gift for you." The widow said the cat was cute as a button.

Now, I am a reporter for a little newspaper here in Ohio. This story is beginning to get to me. I want to know. In fact, a lot of inquiring minds want to know. Here lately, all I can do is think about Mrs. Kandle with her cat and watch Three Stooges movies. I'm stable or I used to be stable. Well, I'd be stable if I could find Mrs. Kandle. Mrs. Kandle, if you are reading this please contact me. Tweet me, email me, use snail mail, I don't care, just let me know who and where you are. In fact, we don't even know if Kandle is your real name. So if you can, get me out of the little mental health bind I an in and contact me.

Now is this story fact or fiction? You tell me. But don't call me right now because there is a Stooges marathon on cable.

Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
