Topic: Christian Faith Equals Christmas Giving All Year Round

Giving is the foundation of the spiritual part of our Christian faith. God gave us His Son. Christ gave His life for us. At Christmas, we are to exhibit our faith in giving, not taking. At Christmas, our spirit becomes the Christmas spirit when we give. At Christmas and at every other time of year, we are to give rather than receive. We do not need a reason to give. We do not need a reason to give at Christmas. We do not need a reason to give because as a Christian we are supposed to be a giving person from the heart. It makes no difference what time of year it is because we are to always give. God gave us Christ Jesus as a blessing. When we give we are to give what we give as a blessing. We are not to give to make us feel better. We are not to give to bring attention to ourselves. We are to give so our love and the love of God will bless others. Most of all, when the love of Christ burns within us we do not need to think about giving because giving becomes automatic.
