Topic: Connect Your Actions To Progress Made

Our progress or lack of progress is the result of our action or inaction. If we make progress but we do not make any connection to our actions, we have no way of knowing whether what we are doing has any result, any benefit, or any effect upon our progress. If we throw a ball into the air and we receive some benefit from throwing the ball, then we should know about the action, know about the result or benefit, and know about the relationship between the action and result or benefit. However, if we throw a ball up in the air and we have no knowledge about the result or benefit we receive, then we miss out on an opportunity to purposefully benefit our life. In basketball, a player who shoots free throws must know the result of his or her shooting attempts to accurately shoot. Without knowing the results of the shooting action, the player's ability to score free throws becomes extremely limited.
