Topic: Doing For Ourselves

We can get along pretty well ourselves.
We can eat.
We can work.
We can move about.
We can think.
We can learn.
We can meet our own needs.
We are self-sufficient.
We can do for ourselves, by ourselves.
We can do for ourselves, by ourselves, better than at any time in human history.
However, we cannot make ourselves live forever.
We cannot conquer the decline of aging.
We have not been able to stop hatred in the world.
We have not been able to stop war, violence, and abuse.
We have not been able to change the sinful nature of man.
So maybe we can't do as much for ourselves by ourselves as we want to think we can.
Maybe, just maybe, in the purist secular sense, we need a Higher Power.
In the greatest spiritual sense, we definitely need Christ Our Savior living and alive within our hearts so our sinful nature does get changed.
