Topic: Facing Change

We must face the facts and realities of life. Times change. Things change. People change. Circumstances change. Few things last forever here on earth. All human beings come to an end. When our life ends, our pain, our hurt, our disappointment, and our sorrow also ends. However, no matter how much things change in our world, when times in our life are at their worst, we can always take charge of our life enough to go to God amidst the changes and the chaos the changes bring. In God we find rest from the turmoil and strife caused by the changes of life. God is a shelter from the storms of life if we will only go to Him and trust in Him. In truth, trusting in God may not change your circumstances on the outside of your life. However, trusting and having a hope in God changes everything on the inside of your life. Many of the things on the outside we cannot change, but the inside is God's territory or kingdom. He will rule on the inside of your life if you give Him a chance and if you learn to keep out of His way.
