Topic: Giving Hope Is Giving Christ

When you give hope to others, what is it you are giving away? You are giving the essence of Christ. When you give hope, you are giving life to those people who are alive in body but whose spirits have gone into the darkness of the tomb. The substance of the rebirth through Christ is hope because when you accept Christ you go from utter hopelessness to hope everlasting. In the rebirth process, you go from a vision of an end to your life to a vision of life as life eternal. When you give others hope, you are giving the love of Christ and the vision Christ gave the world. It is through Christ that others in the world can see into the heavenly realms. In your daily walk, whether it be as a solitary prayer warrior in recluse or as a servant interacting with hundreds of people, when you give hope you are giving the message of Christ, the message about Christ's redeeming grace, and Christ Himself.
