Topic: God, Control, And Bad Things Happening Some people believe God controls our future and controls our life. Other people believe each of us has the power of God within us to control our life. When we believe our life is controlled by God we can end up wanting to love God to get Him to give us what we want instead of loving Him for who He is and what He has done for us. Bad things happen to people not because God wants bad things to happen but because Satan makes bad things happen. When bad things happen because of Satan we have a choice. When bad things happen because of Satan we can respond by choosing to make good things happen for God or let the bad things make us do bad things for ourselves. When we choose to make good things happen for God in the face of darkness, pain, our mistakes, and suffering, we are in control. We are then winners for God.
