Topic: The Bible

God inspired the words of the Bible so you would read them and apply His words to your life. The words of your favorite evangelist or TV preacher are not better, not higher, and are not more profound than the Bible. It is important when talking about God to remember what we know and learn about God ought to come straight out of the Scripture. When we want to know anything about God, we must first go to the Scripture rather than first going to the mouth of a human being. No matter how inspired any person might think they are, or you might think they are, no words of a human being can ever be as true or as inspired as the words God dictated in the Holy Bible. Any words you read anywhere, or hear anywhere, no matter what the source or who the source might be, are not words that are higher or even equal to the Holy Bible. Even with all its mystery, no book has as profound a truth, and no book has as important a place in your life as God's own personal words to you in His Book written just for you.
